Eight evenings every November
Where to eat during GLOW Eindhoven
GLOW takes over the city centre. We are on Kerkstraat, right inside that area — and after a few kilometres in the November cold, a burger is not a luxury.
One weekend every October
The finish is on Vestdijk, one block from our door. We are open on the Sunday, all afternoon.
The Eindhoven Marathon has been the biggest running weekend in Brabant for over forty editions: a full and half marathon, a quarter, a walking event, a City Run and a Kids Run. The field sets off on Sunday morning and the course runs straight through the city, past the Philips Stadion and back into the centre.
The finish is on Vestdijk. From there it is a few minutes to our door on Kerkstraat — which is about as far as anyone wants to walk after forty-two kilometres, and about as far as their support crew wants to carry the bags.
Runners and supporters come in from midday well into the evening. We do not take reservations, so you do not need to know in advance what time you will arrive. On a marathon day, nobody does.
Waiting for someone to come in? Much of the centre is closed to cars that day, so walking and public transport are the fastest way to get from the course to the finish. We sit in between the two, with coffee for the morning and beer for afterwards.
Coming with a whole club? Mail us beforehand and we will be ready for you.

Opening hours
Eight evenings every November
GLOW takes over the city centre. We are on Kerkstraat, right inside that area — and after a few kilometres in the November cold, a burger is not a luxury.
Nine days every October
Nine days of design across the whole city. We are in the centre, walking distance from the downtown venues and close to the station.
Every June, with the parade on the Saturday
The parade comes down Kerkstraat. You do not have to walk any further than that.
