GLOW takes over the city centre. We are on Kerkstraat, right inside that area — and after a few kilometres in the November cold, a burger is not a luxury.

Where to eat near the DAF Museum
Thirteen minutes on foot, more or less straight down Vestdijk. The museum closes at five.
The DAF Museum tells the story of the Van Doorne brothers from 1928 onwards, in the city the company came from. You walk through a reconstructed 1930s street, past a hall of trucks, an engine gallery, and upstairs a floor of passenger cars and prototypes — the Variomatic models included.
Allow half a day
It is a museum to take slowly; two to three hours is normal. Open Tuesday to Sunday, ten until five. That makes the logistics easy: go in the morning and come back into town for lunch, or go after lunch and be with us at five.
The walk from Tongelresestraat to Kerkstraat is a little over a kilometre, almost straight through via Dommelstraat and Vestdijk. Thirteen minutes, flat, no detour.

The DAF Museum draws a lot of clubs and coach parties. If that is you, and you want somewhere thirty people can eat without it becoming an operation: mail us ahead and we will think along.
